Application

The VIP 134T Leak Detection Tester is designed for air-tightness testing of various packages, containers, bags, and pipes used in industries such as food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, daily chemicals, and electronics. This tester adheres to ASTM D3078, GB/T 15171, and can be adapted for ASTM F 2054 Bubble Test.

The testing process involves placing a sample into a vacuum chamber filled with water. A venturi vacuum ejector evacuates the air above the water, creating a pressure differential between the chamber and the sample. Any leaks will cause bubbles to escape from the high-pressure sample, which can be easily observed in the water. The tester can also be used with liquid samples and methylene blue tests.
