Application

The Fryma Fabric Extension Tester is designed for the simple and economical determination of the stretch and recovery properties of textile fabrics, including both knitted and woven materials. The apparatus features a loading frame with clamps and a screw tensioning device, along with 3 kg loading weights and sample cutting templates for accurate testing.

To test fabric stretch, the sample is clamped and stretched by rotating a shaft, moving the clamp in an anti-clockwise direction. The stretch rate can be directly read on the scale, with separate scales for both knitted and woven fabrics. The moving clamp can be quickly returned to its initial position by pressing the knob on the side of the device.
